Infrared (IR) Welding Machine

Infrared (IR) welding, also knows as non-contact welding or “beadless” welding, is desirable in applications where maintaining a smooth inner bore is a requirement for preventing encrustation and bacteria formation in ultra high purity systems. 

Simtech IR welding equipment enables highly accurate welding alignment and near-beadless fusion with a smooth inner and outer surface of the welding area.  This welding technology is commonly used for high purity PVDF and ECTFE systems and is also a solution for butt-welding these materials in very small diameters.
